"content": "{delete}\nI am YoYo\\*.\n\nI started playing LBS in October of 2019. I have owned and operated many LBS social and event servers here on Discord such as Alpha, AM/AfterMath, AD/AfterDark, and AL/AfterLife. I took ownership of my first server called AM just 3 months after discovering LBS and I have been creating events, hosting games, and encouraging healthy competition between friends ever since.\n\nI previously played Slither where I also created and hosted in-game events like Capture the Flag and Storm Wars.\n\nI have been hosting weekend events like my Friday Night Fight and Solo Saturday for around a year now and quickly realized that these events are even better when we open them up to all players rather than just my private servers. I began posting them in the battlegrounds channel within the LBS server and they were widely loved and we always had a great chaotic game.\n\nThennnnnn..... I got banned 😺. And I could no longer host my events for the entire player base. With new servers constantly being added to LBS everyone's games have become more and more vacant and predictable and less and less fun and intense. So I decided it was time to open the weekend games back up to the full player base so we can pack those dead servers and get some chaos going again.\n\nMy server staff inquired about reopening the battlegrounds channel in LBS and posting my events there. I was encouraged by LBS admin to contact them so we could attempt to resolve our long-standing issues and provide a fun experience for all the players.... And then they immediately turned around and said something along the lines of \"Yeah sorry, just wanted to see what you were gonna say I wasn't actually planning on letting you do this\". They wouldn't even let the members share my game flyers there because they had my name on them. I had to design separate flyers for the events I created myself and have been hosting for a year and remove my own name from them just to be able to try and bring something new and positive to the game community, but it was worth it.\n\nThe first few weeks have been successful and I've received a ton of positive feedback but it's still just not enough exposure. I really want all players to feel welcomed and encouraged to attend the events, not just those that are active members of the official LBS Discord server.\n\nSo I created \"YoYo\\*s Games\".\n\nAt first it was just going to be a place for me to have my own event calendar available to all players. But then at the suggestion of my staff member Lag-42 I realized I needed to think bigger.\n\n__All players are welcome to join this server to not only attend events but also to create and advertise their own events and LBS servers.__\n\nThis is a place where all event creators are encouraged to submit their events and have them advertised together in one single place for all to see.\n\nThis helps us all to avoid scheduling conflicts, attract a wider audience, gain more participation, and bring life and fun back to the servers.\n\nThis server is neutral grounds and not in competition with any other servers, players, or events. Anyone can invite anyone and you are all welcome to submit invitation links to advertise your own LBS servers here as well. Please invite your friends, your teammates, your server members, and any LBS players you know to join YoYo\\*s Games so we can all say goodbye to dead servers and bring those fun chaotic games back to LBS.",
