{if({index}==1):{user(mention)}, for bot to work reliably you need to use it with a local/offline Windows user account, and not an online one where your Windows user ID is an e-mail address.
How to convert an online account to an offline account: [Convert Guide](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027068/windows-10-switch-your-device-to-a-local-account)|
{if({index}==2):{user(mention)}, start by updating .NET to latest through Windows Update or download from [Microsoft's website](https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework), then try again.
And since you haven't done that, you probably haven't read the [Getting Started](https://www.ros-bot.com/guide/getting-started) guide so do that too. |
{if({index}==3):{user(mention)}, that's Windows Defender or other AV shutting it down most likely.
Make sure you have made an [Exclusion](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028485/windows-10-add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security) for the **folder** with ros-bot.exe in it.
(Disabling AV is usually not reliable as it still interferes to some degree)

Also check Windows Defender -> Current Threats -> Protection History
If not there, look elsewhere in Win Defender. Menu names and things to click to get there may be different depending on which Windows version.
It may also be an indicator of .NET problems. Use the latest available from Microsoft to repair the installed .NET package.|
{if({index}==4):{user(mention)}, this is most likely due to the bot's config files having been corrupted, possibly from a crash or forced termination of the application.

In \Documents\RoS-Bot\ there are a few .ini files.
Try removing RosBotGlobalSettings.ini first and then try to start the bot back up. If that doesn't help, keep deleting other .ini files in the same folder until it does.

You are going to have to redo some configurations when it finally starts back up again, as some of the settings was stored in the files you've now deleted.|
{if({index}==5):{user(mention)}, Razer Chroma is a common cause of crashes in Blizzard's games.
Try disabling it. If that doesn't work, uninstalling it should.|
{if({index}==6):{user(mention)}, something caused D3 to crash. View this error description by clicking on it in the RBTroubleshooter app and then post it here.|
{if({index}==7):{user(mention)}, you made a mistake of unzipping the bot files into your D3 game directory.
1) Remove the bot files from there, then run a Scan & Repair of D3 in battle.net app.
2) Create a folder somewhere (on Desktop is fine), and unzip the bot files to that folder.
3) Go read the [Getting Started](https://www.ros-bot.com/guide/getting-started) guide which you obviously didn't read yet. |
{if({index}==8):{user(mention)}, your Windows system is missing the Default user folder in C:\Users\ which means no new Windows user created by either you (manually) or by bot app will work, and the bot app needs a non-admin Windows user for it to work.
Windows 7: Missing link. Try the Win10 one.
Windows 8: Missing link. Try the Win10 one.
Windows 10: [Link](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/547045119766036494/696880618587422730/W10-1903-Default.zip)
1) Unzip into C:\Users\
2) Go delete your \Documents\RoS-Bot folder
3) Run ros-bot.exe from wherever you have the bot files.|
{if({index}==9):{user(mention)}, check if the Windows services `Secondary Logon` and `Server` are running:
1) Type *`services.msc`* into Windows Run (Win+R keys) and hit Enter.
2) Scroll down and if those two aren't running; Right click on them and start them up.
If they *are* already running; Stop & start them.
3) Go to your Documents folder and remove the folder named *RoS-Bot*.
4) Try ros-bot.exe again.
If it works it should create a randomly named folder in C:\Users. (With no TEMP in the name)
If it doesn't, come back.|
{if({index}==10):{user(mention)}, check if the Windows services `Secondary Logon` and `Server` are running:

{if({index}==11):{user(mention)}, the D3 folder you pointed Ros-bot to is not the same as the D3 folder that battle.net app is pointed to and have kept up-to-date.

Go into Global Settings in Ros-bot app and set the correct path of your D3 game folder at `DiabloPath`.
If you can't open the Ros-bot app to do so you can also do this in \Documents\RoS-Bot\RosBotGlobalSettings.ini (open with notepad)|
{if({index}==12):{user(mention)}, use the `Set D3 Permissions` button in the Support tool and then try again.
If it still doesn't work after that, run the RBSupport tool once again and post the results in here.|
{if({index}==13):{user(mention)}, go into Global Settings and set the correct path of your D3 game folder at `DiabloPath`.
If you can't open the bot app to do so you can also do this in \Documents\RoS-Bot\RosBotGlobalSettings.ini (open with notepad)|
{if({index}==14):{user(mention)}, the D3 game folder you have pointed bot towards is not updated.
Change location of D3 in the b.net app to the same folder that you pointed bot to and make sure it updates it.|
{if({index}==15):{user(mention)}, do a *real* reboot, not through the normal Windows menu but by typing *`shutdown -r -t 0`* into Windows Run (**Win** + **R** keys).
This should reboot the system fully and clear the system of any suspended processes.|
{if({index}==16):{user(mention)}, the D3 process running should not be running under a normal (admin) Windows user, but under a limited Windows user. Not sure if you had to create a Windows user yourself for bot to run D3 under and accidentally made it an admin instead of a limited user. This should be changed, for your own safety.|
{if({index}==17):{user(mention)}, the site and bot is up and running just fine, but the ability to connect is blocked on your end and for this specific issue we cannot help you here.|
{if({index}==18):{user(mention)}, Windows Aero must be enabled for bot's overlay to work at all.
Read this on [How to Enable Windows Aero](https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq/how-to-enable-window-transparency-aero-on-windows-7.1743101/).|
{if({index}==19):{user(mention)}, [this guide](https://www.ros-bot.com/guide/optimal-video-settings-and-d3prefs-1224299) will help you fix your graphics settings in Windows and D3 to avoid misclicks and UI related bugs.

The most important parts are the __*Game resolution*__ and __*Display Scaling in Windows*__.
D3Prefs.txt edits are optional, and anything changed in it is for bot only; it won't affect your manual play sessions when you start D3 normally.|
{if({index}==20):{user(mention)}, if you are in true fullscreen instead of a windowed mode, you won't be able to see the bot's overlay (stats/movement). Follow [this guide](https://www.ros-bot.com/guide/optimal-video-settings-and-d3prefs-1224299).|

Nothing weird there.
