rentvc

A tag to "rent" a voice channel. Users on servers with a tag like this can in game tell anyone they also want to join the hidden voice channel with them to use the same tag to gain access temporarily. This requires manual setup of the voice channels, the permissions that grant the roles exclusive connect/speak access (aside from staff), and editing of this tag to fit your own server's needs. In this example, there are 3 voice channels (Raid 1, Raid 2, and Raid 3), and three roles (Raid 1, Raid 2, and Raid 3), which give the user access to the respective voice channels. The values stored in {=(chan):abcdefg hijklmn opqrstu} are the respective never expiring invite link suffixes for those voice channels (the current values are examples and not real invite links). The command finds which channel they specified to join (the args following the tag invocation), and gives them the proper temprole and DMs them the invite link. If they didn't specify which channel they want to join, it will dm the user the options. The blacklist prevents users that have already rented and connected to one of the voice channels from renting another to prevent a user being able to see and access all of the rentable voice channels at once. On my server, I referred to the roles by their mention formatted ID's, so that I could rename them to an empty character and set their role colors as #2f3136 to make them invisible, so that not only can users that aren't "renting" the voice not see the channels, but they also cannot see who might be renting the voice channels by checking for roles. On my server I also set up Carlbot's voice channel linking (before renaming the roles to empty characters), so that when the user disconnects from the voice channel, the temporary role that granted them access was automatically removed. Unfortunately this still requires some moderation, as nothing prevents the user from sitting in the voice channel indefinitely after their temprole expires. I would recommend using discord AFK voice channel settings as well as manual moderation.
