{=(title):Automod not triggering when you think it should?}

{=(desc):
**0.** Use `!ams` **in <#456625369974308866>**, the bot will send you instructions, follow them to get information and set up the desired automod module(s) correctly.

**1.** Use `@Carl-bot#1536 automod` in your server and make sure your settings match with the information you were given by the bot from the `!ams` command. If you're unsure if your setting are correct, screenshot the command output and the message that should've triggered the automod. We will be able to determine if the issue is related to your settings or not.

• If you are troubleshooting the **bad words/censor** automod, also run `@Carl-bot#1536 censor show` and make sure something shows on the list of blacklisted words.
• If you are troubleshooting the **bad links/linkspam** automod, also run `@Carl-bot#1536 linkspam` and make sure something shows on the list of blacklisted/whitelisted domains.

**2.** If everything seems to be set up properly, use `@Carl-bot#1536 serverinfo` to allow <@235148962103951360> to recache your server. Sometimes the bot gets the wrong role hierarchy position from Discord, thinking it is under a user's highest role while it isn't. Using this command should fix it.
}

{=(draft):**0.** Automod ignores users with **Manage Server Perms, Administrator or a whitelisted role**, and ignores anything that happens in a whitelisted channel. Whitelisted roles and channels can be found by following **step 1**. Make sure <@235148962103951360>'s highest role is above the highest role of the member who is testing the automod. <@235148962103951360> cannot moderate someone who is higher than him in role hierarchy. Test with a normal member without any of these permissions in a channel that is not whitelisted.}
